Rather than just checking for disease or diagnosing a specific condition, functional labs are designed to identify imbalances, deficiencies, dysfunctions, and hidden stressors that may be contributing to your symptoms—even if your conventional labs appear “normal.”

Every person's healing journey is unique, so the timeline for results can vary. While many clients begin to notice meaningful improvements—such as better energy, digestion, mood, or symptom relief—within the first 12 weeks, deeper, more lasting transformation typically takes 4 to 6 months or longer.

Your progress depends on several factors, including the complexity of your symptoms, how long you've been experiencing them, your health history, and your current lifestyle and habits. It’s important to remember that true healing is not a quick fix—it’s a gradual, layered process that requires time, consistency, and compassion for yourself along the way.

I'm trained to interpret a wide range of advanced functional lab tests, and I tailor each testing recommendation to your unique symptoms, health history, and goals. That said, there are a few core tests I use most often because they consistently provide deep insight into what’s going on beneath the surface.

The tests I recommend most frequently include:

• GI-MAP (stool test): Offers a detailed look at your gut microbiome, digestion, pathogens, and inflammation.

• DUTCH Test (urine hormone test): Provides a comprehensive view of your hormone levels and how your body is metabolizing them.

• HTMA (Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis): Assesses mineral levels and heavy metal exposure to reveal underlying imbalances and stress patterns.

• OAT (Organic Acids Test): Gives insight into mitochondrial function, detox pathways, nutrient deficiencies, and gut health.

• Comprehensive Bloodwork & Thyroid Panel: Helps assess metabolic health, immune function, inflammation, thyroid function, and more.

These tests are incredibly valuable tools for uncovering the root causes of your symptoms and guiding a truly personalized healing plan.

If you're curious about other tests—like food sensitivity panels, mold and mycotoxin testing, or adrenal panels—we can absolutely discuss your interests and decide what’s most appropriate for your individual needs and goals.

Clients typically receive their at-home lab kits in the mail after 5-7 business days and I receive their results about 3-4 weeks after the lab received their samples.

For labs that are not included in your package, you can expect to pay an additional $250-$400 per lab, depending on which lab is chosen.

All of my clients are welcome to continue working with me if they seek additional support after their package ends. I apply a pay-by-consult rate of $200 per 1:1 coaching session for my continuing clients. You may also choose to run additional labs if we continue working together, which would be an added cost.
